Tinplate
1. The polymer film forms a dense and continuous physical barrier between the metal substrate (tinplate, chrome plated iron) and the contents, thus possessing excellent corrosion resistance and barrier properties.
2. The film coating layer usually has good wear resistance and is not easily scratched during canning, transportation, and sales, keeping the printed pattern as new for a long time.
3. The film itself has extremely high glossiness and flatness, making it an ideal printing substrate that can achieve high-resolution, high-definition, brightly colored, and strong printing effects.
4. The film has been cured before lamination and is solvent-free. The surface of the film is very smooth, dense, and pore free, making it less prone to bacterial growth. Therefore, it has excellent food safety and hygiene.
5. The laminating process itself does not require the use of solvent based coatings, nor does it require high-temperature baking and curing, resulting in no VOC emissions and a cleaner and more environmentally friendly production process.
